Effect and Energy Efficient Air Cooling For Industrial and Commercial Set-Ups

Air cooling is essential for both industrial as well as for residential set-ups. However, the industrial air cooling standards required are no doubt more complicated to conventional residential needs.

In industries such as pharmaceutical, food processing, biotechnology, etc., manufacturers have complex air cooling needs for their production units such as HEPA filtration systems, climate control and more. These industries need 100% clean and cool air for their manufacturing needs and to maintain good indoor air quality (IAQ).

Air cooler for industries:

Modern manufacturers have raised their standards to meet hi-tech industrial air cooling needs, as mentioned above. Indirect evaporative cooling is being preferred more due its various benefits. The HMX-IEC is a fine example of an industrial indirect evaporative cooling unit. The specialty of these machines is their ability to cool the surrounding space without addition of moisture. Therefore, these are generally preferred to be installed in areas where humidity needs to be maintained within a specific range. This HMX machine is also suitable for industrial use due to its ability to cool huge spaces. Many industries, starting from food processing, beverages, FMCG, automobile, etc. have found these cooling units useful.

Not just industries, this equipment can be used in commercial complexes as well. Indirect evaporative coolers enhance the indoor air quality, at the same time, while maintaining comfortable conditions for the human body (according to external conditions) are most desired for commercial complexes. Apart from this, the coolers are also preferred for use in restaurant kitchens and dining zones in the hospitality industry as well.

Desired features and standards:

It’s not just about air cooling, though. Features like BMS compatibility and speed control arrangements means that these direct or indirect evaporative coolers can be used in a number of applications. Such flexibility is one of the reasons that these coolers can be mated with industrial automation solutions. The HMX-Ambiator is another good example of an indirect evaporative cooler like the HMX-IECfor challenging industrial cooling applications.

No doubt these machines and the technologies used with these are best suited for modern industrial cooling industrial and commercial cooling applications. Apart from maintaining indoor air quality, these machines are preferred as they prevent sick building syndrome (SBS). Moreover, with zero usage of CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons), this equipment becomes absolutely eco-friendly, and hence helps in the reduction of greenhouse gas effects.
