Water Pressure Booster Pump Technology

A water pressure booster is a machine designed to handle the pressure of the inflow of water and channelize at appropriate speeds. Water pressure boosters are an important piece of equipment for both households and industries. Household sizes are far smaller for they have to control smaller quantities of water. On the other hand industrial ones are most useful for plumbing purposes in large buildings. The daily utility of water pressure boosters automatically entails that they must be long lasting and made from the finest quality metal.
The right water pressure booster can be chosen by intersecting science and personal needs of the customer. Peak hours, especially in the morning, when everyone is up to go to work, is one of the few times during the day when pressure is at its the lowest. When it comes to large commercial spaces such as office buildings or shopping malls, the early morning rush doesn’t have to be dealt with. Hence optimising the kind of water pressure booster one needs depends on what you need it for. For commercial or industrial usage, water pressure must be high at all times and so the boosters must be resilient. Not only do they have to be erosion resistant but must also not be susceptible to corrosion or stoppage. For household use, the stress on the booster is most only in the hours of the morning so it can be of a lower quality. Tall buildings definitely need a machine with greater horsepower. The pressure of the water from the primary supply point must also be taken into consideration.
The Hyp-EXE is a water pressure booster pump developed by the A.T.E. Enterprises and delivers on all the mentioned needs of a consumer. With microprocessor technology, it has the ability to control varying degrees of load. It is a device apt for both commercial and residential use. Furthermore, it can be used in skyscrapers, malls, multiplexes apart from commercial and residential complexes. Its friction-loss compensation feature ensures that the friction caused within the machine does not affect the pressure of the water. Along with this feature, the HyP-EXE also boasts pump cascading, automatic cyclic alterations of lead and robust systems.

Maintain the Continuity with Textile Carding Machines

A carding machine untangles, cleans and joins fibre to produce a continuous fibre web for further processing. Carding is the second step in the process of spinning. Various parts like flat, flat cleaning brush, cylinder, comb etc. help in achieving this task. These clean, separate, and join the fibres from the raw material converting them to silver.

Actions in a carding machine:

The four actions occur in a carding machine:
  1. Combing Action: Using combs to remove short fibres and impurities as well as straightening and paralleling of long fibres is done in this process.
  2. Carding Action: It occurs between cylinder and flat.  It is also known as the point against point action as the direction between the two rollers is different along with different speed.
  3. Stripping Action: As the name suggests, the fibres convert into the strip in this step. Here the roller has the same direction, however with variable speed.
  4. Doffing Action: The fibre after above three steps is transferred to a doffer from cylinder making a condensed web for forming the silver.
The quality of silver depends on the carding machine and its parts. The machine’s capability of removing impurity and joining long fibres determines its efficiency and vary from company to company. A.T.E.  is one of the respected companies in the field of textile machinery. A.T.E. supplies carding machines manufactured by Truetzschler India Private Limited. Established in 1939, the A.T.E. Group is recognized as a leader in textile engineering in India, providing end to end solutions to the textile industry.

Truetzschler’s three variants of carding machine include:

1.       TC 10: It is designed to meet the highest production requirements. The machine can adapt to cotton quality within seconds, improve the quality produced.

2.       Card TC 11: With Lowest operation costs, longest card, lowest wastage quantities and best product quality, this machine is in great demand from Indian textile manufacturers.

3.       Card TC 5-1 and TC 5-3: These machines come with a production rate of 120 kg/hr and produce silver out of cotton and man-made fibres. This machine has touchscreen interface for maintenance and operation.

Carding action in TC (Truetzschler) cards is the longest in the world with a length of 2.83 m.

Step up to Energy Efficient Evaporative Cooling Systems

Cooling systems have evolved drastically over the years. Evaporative cooling systems – one of the earliest used cooling systems – works on the principle of vaporization. Under the right ambient conditions, Evaporative cooling provides energy efficient cooling.

In an evaporative cooler, the pump circulates water from the reservoir on to a cooling pad, which gets wet. A fan draws in air from the outside through the cooling pad. The key to effective evaporative cooling is ensuring that each of the cooling pads is completely saturated and that the right amount of airflow is maintained.

HMX (a part of the A.T.E. Group) manufactures a range of industrial cooling systems that are based on proprietary indirect direct evaporative cooling technology (or IDEC).

Different types of Evaporative Cooling system by A.T.E Group: -

•    Indirect Evaporative Cooling:
The heat exchanger cools the air, where the secondary air carries heat energy and primary air is vapour.

•    Direct Evaporative Cooling:
Air temperature is reduced directly by the water evaporating into the air stream.

Air is first cooled with indirect evaporating cooling, and then with a direct evaporating cooling.

•    Indirect Evaporating Cooling and CWC:
The air is cooled using indirect evaporating cooling and then the desired temperature is achieved with a CWC (chilled water coil).

Each of these is unique in their own way and have a different function on its own.

Evaporative cooling systems provide comfort cooling for industrial and commercial spaces. This also leads to reduced energy costs.

What’s New in Temperature Control Innovation?

The demand for energy-efficient industrial cooling solutions is on the rise today, due to scarcity of energy and the need for sustainability. This has led to a number of innovations in the field of sustainable cooling systems.

One major innovation in the temperature control arena has been the indirect evaporative cooling which works on the revolutionary Dry Air Moist Air (DAMA) heat exchanger technology. HMX, a company which designs and manufactures unique, energy-efficient and eco-friendly products for space cooling (and a part of the A.T.E. group) uses DAMA as its core technology. The highly optimized design counts for the strength and stability at which the system works. Evaporative Cooling minimizes the use of refrigerants but still manages to supply cleaner and cooler air without losing the core of sustainable innovation.

Indirect evaporative cooling has brought in a great change in comfortable cooling where the temperature reduces without having to add moisture to the primary air. There are four parts of innovative air conditioning in the industrial space:

1.    Comfort cooling – Ambient temperatures can vary throughout the year in different areas, but trades and industries need a certain range to be maintained for the work to go on, and production to continue non-stop. Comfort cooling is all about being able to maintain a certain temperature if an industrial set-up is planted in the deserts or near a snowy area!

2.    Pre-Cooling – Pre-cooling solutions are such that work with an existing conditioning system but reduce the consumption of energy using an indirect evaporating system. Industrial systems, especially workplaces with mainly a great number of people can benefit from such a setting, it helps to make their surroundings more comfortable and eco-friendly, and further reducing costs by saving energy!

3.    Process Cooling – Some industries require a certain parameter of climate control and humidity, as their production works in that way, for instance, food products. This specific requirement can be fulfilled by innovative climate control technologies, constantly being developed at HMX.

4.    Spot Cooling – A lot of industries have certain spots in their workplaces which require more cooling than the other sections. For instance, a printing unit has a special area for bigger printers that require more cooling compared to the rest. Even in the automobile industry, certain parts of the factory need the equipment and some parts to be in a cooler situation before they are finally assembled.

With these factors in mind, innovation will continue further, and probably more needs will be defined in the coming years for industrial cooling.
